The HELP Center received a direct referral from the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) for the FNS recipient to participate in our virtual Employment & Training Program. The participant has been deemed suitable for the SNAP Employment & Training (E&T) Program. The referral was not processed within the required MTAJ-NC three-day timeframe due to the ongoing government shutdown from October 1, 2025 - November 14, 2025. We received confirmation, from MTAJ-NC, to resume November 19, 2025. As a result, all related referral activities and case actions were temporarily delayed until normal operations resume.
Marketing Outreach Campaign
A comprehensive marketing outreach effort was conducted to inform the participant about The HELP Center’s Employment & Training Program. This included a postcard mailing, email campaign, and text message outreach. The postcard provided an overview of the program and invited the participant to contact us for enrollment. The email campaign delivered additional program details and encouraged direct engagement, while the text message offered an immediate opportunity to enroll in our virtual Employment & Training Program. A telephone outreach effort will be conducted within ten (10) business days of this referral to personally engage the participant and promote enrollment in The HELP Center’s Employment & Training Program.
