Work Readiness Training at The HELP Center provides meaningful assistance to low income individuals, helping to improve their ability to get a job. Activities include skill assessment and educational remediation services that prepare individuals for the workforce.

Module Overview
 
The Building a Foundation Module is designed as the initial step in the Pathways to Employability Program at The HELP Center. For 7 days, participants will engage in a self-paced learning experience that provides them with essential skills, knowledge, and the right mindset to embark on their professional journeys. This module integrates theoretical concepts with practical exercises, including reflective journaling on daily learnings and progress and a 1:1 Case Management session, ensuring participants are well-prepared to build a solid personal and professional foundation.

Course Overview

The SMART Maintenance Technician course developed in collaboration with the START and AHLEI Credentialed Maintenance Technician Training Program, is designed to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to thrive as maintenance technicians in the hospitality industry. The course is self-paced and accessible for up to six months from the date of enrollment, allowing participants to complete it at their convenience. This program includes line-level virtual training, a comprehensive workbook, and integrated case management.
