Job Description

The Front Office Coordinator serves as the welcoming face of The HELP Center, holding a key position within the Operations Department as part of the Support Staff team. This role is essential in ensuring that the front office functions efficiently and maintains a professional, organized, and compassionate environment for clients, visitors, and staff alike.

Job Responsibilities

  • Greet clients, visitors, and partners with professionalism and warmth

  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries

  • Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and provide administrative support to staff

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front office and reception area

  • Ensure accurate recordkeeping, sign-in logs, and appointment tracking

  • Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and supply inventory

  • Support intake coordination and distribute information and resources to clients

  • Provide administrative support for the Food Pantry Program, including scheduling, client coordination, and reporting

  • Collaborate with pantry staff and volunteers to ensure smooth daily operations

  • Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and excellent customer service standards

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Prior experience in food service, warehouse, or customer service a plus

  • Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 30 lbs

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Dependable, team-oriented, and committed to helping others
