The HELP Center is a State of Tennessee provider
of the SNAP Employment & Training Program
Work Experience (WEX) offers an opportunity for participants to practice or expand their work skills in a supportive and flexible work environment. The Work Experience is also used for participants to obtain current work references
Participants
SNAP participants are able to change their lives when they have the opportunity to gain the right skills to move forward to employment and self-sufficiency. Each state operates a SNAP E&T program that can provide SNAP participants with job training, help finding a job, and services to support their success, such as transportation, books, supplies, and child care.
Partners
We invite you to partner with us in supporting a unique work experience (WEX) training opportunity. By doing so, you would be helping to strengthen the pipeline between our transitional work program, ensuring that our participants are career-ready, and that you have a future work force that meets your needs. We are looking for partners who wish to provide skill training to our program participants for up to a six (6) month period.
