Internships
An internship with The HELP Center offers students hands-on experience with a quickly-growing nonprofit that requires the commitment and investment of its participants. We provide the learning and experience it takes to thrive as a committed, competent, and effective leader within the nonprofit community. THC interns will become value-centered, service-oriented, and ethical leaders. All internships are unpaid, but eligible for class credit.
Interns have the opportunity to gain exposure to the day-to-day operations of a non-profit, as well as make connections with Nashville organizations. As a small and quickly growing nonprofit, interns are in integral part of our team and we have many resume-building opportunities
Partners
Building a better life requires establishing a bank account, finding reliable transportation and housing, plus so much more. We partner with companies who want to HELP our participants get back on their feet and on their way to living prosperous.
The HELP Center’s participants are men and women who are seeking to reintegrate to the community and want to work. For six years, we have been helping these people find meaningful employment by connecting them with regional employers, fulfilling their short-term labor needs.
We screen job seekers based on their qualifications and your hiring needs, then refer them to you. Your company evaluates our referrals based on merit, and hires on a case-by-case basis.
